Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fish and Chips Fryer to join our team. As a Fryer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team.

Duties

Prepare and cook various food items using frying techniques, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain food standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils used for frying.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices to ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers.
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve optimal results.

Skills

Experience in a Fish and chip shop is ESSENTIAL.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and equipment, including fryers, ovens, and grills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
