Full job description

We require a Dayshift Confectionary Assistant for a busy bakery in Cupar.

Hours: 39 hours (5 days over 7)

Days/Hours: Monday - Thursday 9.30am - 6pm and Friday 8.30am - 4pm. Saturdays may be required to provide annual leave cover, with a minimum of four weeks’ notice. Where a Saturday is worked, an alternative day off will be provided.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour

Due to continued growth we have a new opportunity within our confectionery department for a Confectionery Assistant.

No experience? no problem we will provide on the job training. Just bring a desire to work, a positive can do attitude, an enthusiasm to learn and a passion to get the job done. The successful candidate will compliment and be an integral part of our busy confectionery department.

This is a bit more details on what we see you doing in this role:

basic food preparation
assisting making / decorating cakes
preparing and or finishing of confectionery products
Washing dishes, pots and equipment
Making sandwiches
Putting orders/buffets together

The kind of person we are looking for:

Great team worker with strong communication skills
Has a desire to learn new skills
Reliable and likes to make sure that each task is completed to the highest standard consistently and in a timely manor.
Ideally we would like some confectionary experience although this is not essential.
