Full job description

Boss Cabins, the UK’s market leading welfare cabin manufacturers, are recruiting an experienced Management Accountant in a newly created role. Our busy accounts team is responsible for handling transactions and producing accounts for a number of group companies.

This permanent, full time role is based in our offices in Bourne, Lincolnshire and will involve some local travel. Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday, with an hour for lunch. You will get 25 days paid holiday per year (pro rata in first year), plus Bank Holidays. You will report to our Group Finance Manager and your key duties will include –

Preparation of monthly management accounts for multiple entities
Producing clear and reliable financial information for different stakeholders within the group
Preparing and posting journal entries
Producing month end balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations
Preparation and submission of VAT and other statutory returns
Assisting with the preparation of forecasts
Preparation of year end financial accounts for multiple entities
Working with external accountants to produce corporation tax returns
Ensuring financial controls and processes are maintained and continually improved
Supporting wider finance activities as required

You should have –

AAT or CIMA qualification, or be qualified by hands-on experience in a similar role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, and experience using accounting software
Good understanding of accounting principles
Ability to exercise complete discretion when processing sensitive information
Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and be highly dependable
Full UK driving licence
