Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Transport Planner to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and optimize transportation operations to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods. Your proactive planning, management skills, and excellent communication will drive smooth supply chain processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and support our company's growth. Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive transportation plans that align with delivery schedules and customer requirements.
Manage daily routing and scheduling of vehicles to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and problem resolution.
Monitor transportation activities using IT systems and logistics software to track shipments and optimize routes.
Oversee compliance with safety regulations, driving laws, and company policies across all transportation operations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and driver logs using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Lead a team of drivers and logistics staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Word, Excel, Outlook—and familiarity with IT systems used in logistics tracking.
Excellent communication skills in English to liaise confidently with team members, clients, and suppliers.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under pressure.
Computer literacy including experience with transportation management software or other relevant IT tools.
Customer service orientation to address client needs promptly and professionally.
