Full job description

Job Summary

Rethync Ltd supply and install a reusable steel hoarding system and other fencing systems to the housebuilding and general construction industries across the country. For more information, please take a look at our website www.rethync.co.uk

Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Fencing Contracts Manager to join our team and help the company to deliver projects safely, on time and to our high standards.

You will have experience in similar roles of running contracts and managing teams across multiple sites across the country.

Responsibilities

Leading by example in Health and Safety matters ensuring effective Health and Safety at all times
Preparing and managing project programmes in line with agreed project budgets and available resources
Prepare and manage Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
Operational management of multiple concurrent contracts
Operational management and support of installation staff, leading a “right first time” ethic
Monitor project progress and maintain accurate project records, providing regular updates to the Operations Director and relevant internal departments.
Attendance at site meetings, including pre-start meetings and site surveys
Preparing, conducting and recording regular toolbox talks
Liaising with site on any changes in requirements during project installation
Drive leadership within your team by motivating staff, managing performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

A knowledge of the fencing sector and proven, relevant experience of project & contract management processes, conditions and terms at Contracts Manager or Project Manager level
Experience managing fencing installation teams
Organised, with attention to detail even under a demanding workload
A strong communicator - you will be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Be able to demonstrate initiative; challenge and resolve issues to achieve a successful outcome
CSCS card essential; SMSTS desirable
Valid driving license with a clean driving record for site visits and client meetings.
Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations relevant to fencing projects.
