Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Working Foreman/woman to lead and supervise construction or maintenance teams on-site. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, hands-on supervisory experience, and expertise in project planning tools. As a key leader on the project site, you will coordinate daily operations, manage workforce activities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations, all while maintaining momentum towards project milestones.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise construction or maintenance crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications
Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines
Utilize project management software to plan, update, and track project timelines and resource allocation
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to uphold health and safety standards
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve on-site issues promptly
Supervise the use of equipment and materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
Maintain detailed records of work performed, incidents, and site activities for reporting purposes

Requirements

Proven management experience in construction or maintenance environments with a strong supervisory background
Demonstrated experience supervising teams on large-scale projects
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations
Physical capability to perform site inspections and oversee field activities effectively
