Job Overview

WE ARE HIRING – SIA LICENSED SECURITY OFFICERS

Join the GO4GOLDFM Security Team

GO4GOLDFM is currently recruiting professional and reliable SIA Licensed Door Supervisor Security Officers to provide security services at a restaurant venue (non-alcohol premises).

If you are customer-focused, vigilant, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, we would like to hear from you.

Duties

Provide a visible security presence at the venue.
Control entry and exit of customers, staff, and visitors.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises.
Prevent unauthorised access and maintain site security.
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
De-escalate conflict and manage challenging behaviour where necessary.
Ensure customers comply with venue rules and maintain a safe environment.
Liaise with the venue management, emergency services, and company Control Room when required.
Complete accurate incident reports and occurrence logs.
Report hazards, suspicious behaviour, or security breaches immediately.
Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional image.
Ensure the safety of customers, staff, and property at all times.

Experience

Previous experience working as a Security Officer, Door Supervisor, or Retail Security Officer is preferred.

Desirable (Not Essential)

First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
Previous experience working in restaurant or hospitality security.
Experience using two-way radios and communicating with a Control Room.
Basic knowledge of CCTV monitoring.
Experience in hospitality, restaurant, bar, nightclub, hotel, or leisure venue security is an advantage.
Experience in customer service and dealing professionally with members of the public.
Experience in access control, including checking identification and managing entry and exit points.
Experience in conflict management and using effective de-escalation techniques.
Experience responding to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches in a calm and professional manner.
Experience conducting patrols and maintaining a visible security presence.
Experience completing incident reports, occurrence books, and daily security logs.
Experience working night shifts or in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and emergency evacuation processes.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high professional standards.
