Join Our Team as a Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner!

Part-time 20 hours over 4 days per week, shifts from 10am-3pm. (1 weekday off).

Are you passionate about creating brighter futures for children? At Alvechurch, we’re looking for a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified, Lunch Cover Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Bring your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, and let’s make a difference together!

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Pay: £13.06 - £13.24 per hour based on experience
Working Hours: Part-time 20 hours over 4 days per week, shifts from 10am-3pm. (1 weekday off).

Nestled in a grand converted house with breath-taking views of rolling fields, Sandhills Day Nursery Alvechurch offers a truly unique environment for any child’s early years. Across our seven main playrooms, each designed to foster a child’s curiosity and development, our nursery is a busy but passionate environment to work in. Conveniently situated within 30 minutes of Birmingham city centre, just 2 minutes from junction 2 off the M42 in the beautiful village of Alvechurch. There is an ample area for staff to park.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others
