Full job description

Job Overview

Seeeking a motivated and skilled Mig Welder/Fabricator to join small but fast growing business . In this role, you will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of small to medium sized projects & be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met.

Duties

Perform MIG welding using various techniques to join metal parts accurately according to specifications
Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials, ensuring proper measurements and cuts
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during fabrication processes
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to guide work
Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or structures
Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards
Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety protocols at all times

Requirements

Proven experience with MIG welding, especially welding techniques
Proficiency in TIG welding is a plus but not required
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication equipment
Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and fitting parts accurately
Familiarity with assembly processes and understanding of mechanical principles
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

This is a full time position & could be an opportunity for the right person to grow with the company, flexible hours are available but punctuality is a must.

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
