Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your proactive approach will help coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and facilitate efficient communication between patients and medical staff. Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic’s calendar efficiently
Verify patient information and update electronic health records accurately
Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls appropriately
Collect and process payments, insurance information, and co-pays with precision
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a professional environment
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed

Qualifications

Prior office experience or administrative experience is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy healthcare setting
Proficiency with office software and electronic health record systems is a plus
Ability to handle sensitive patient information confidentially and securely
