Groundworker

Location: Redditch

WPS is looking for an experienced and dependable Groundworker/Hard Landscaper to join our growing team. Working across social housing properties in and around Redditch, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance, repair, and improvement works that make a real difference to local communities.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with strong groundworks experience, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair, and relay concrete flagging and paving.
Carry out light brickwork repairs, repointing, and minor masonry works.
Renew, repair, and install closeboard, panel, and timber fencing.
Complete responsive maintenance and repair works across occupied and void social housing properties.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and supervisors.

What We're Looking For

Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
NVQ Level 2 in Groundworks, Hard Landscaping, or a related construction trade (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience working within domestic, residential, or social housing maintenance environments.
Ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
