About us

We are looking for experienced, authentic, and therapeutically minded Residential Care workers who are genuinely committed to improving the lives of children and young people, to join our small, expanding organisation in Nottingham.

We are not a typical care provider. With seven consecutive 'Good' in all areas, Ofsted gradings, we have a proven track record of consistently delivering high-quality care and maintaining the highest standards across our services. Our home is built on a holistic, child-centred, and trauma-informed approach that places young people at the heart of everything we do. Equally, we value our team of caring adults, supporting them to develop, reflect, and thrive in their roles through strong leadership, quality learning and development, and genuine investment in their wellbeing and career progression.

We are seeking people to join our team who share our ethos, our therapeutic approach and our drive for positive outcomes.

The Role

Does not support Visa Sponsorship to overseas applicants. Right to Work 38 hours per week is essential

As a Residential Care Worker, you will:

Provide consistent, nurturing, and therapeutic incorporating real family values within a residential home environment
Build trusting relationships that support emotional understanding, resilience, and growth
Work collaboratively within a reflective and supportive team
Support young people in education, daily routines, and community activities
Contribute to care planning, recording, and safeguarding in line with and best practice and Quality Standards.

The Ideal Candidate

We are particularly keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate:

A sound understanding of the Children Act 1989 and Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards (2015)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (achieved or willingness to work towards)
At least 1 year’s experience working with children in residential care or supporting vulnerable young people
A genuine interest in promoting emotional wellbeing, and therapeutic practice
The ability to act as a safe, inspiring, and consistent role model
Emotional resilience, can-do mindset, calm and reflective approach under pressure
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and sleeping night shifts
Ambition for career development and progression
