Empowering U Healthcare are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred support for an individual with complex clinical and personal care needs. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day while working as part of a supportive and professional care team.

Available Role: Rugeley, WS15. Client: Supporting a female client.

Medication Management

Blood Glucose Monitoring
PEG / RIG / Gastrostomy / Jejunostomy Care
Incontinence Care
Wheelchair User Support
Limited Mobility / Unable to Mobilise Independently
Muscle Weakness

About The Role

Role-Specific Responsibilities

Supporting with insulin administration and blood glucose monitoring.
Providing care and support for individuals with PEG, RIG, Gastrostomy, and Jejunostomy feeding systems.
Delivering high standards of personal care, including continence care.
Supporting a wheelchair user with daily activities and positioning requirements.
Assisting an individual who is unable to mobilise independently, using appropriate moving and handling techniques and equipment.
Monitoring health and wellbeing, reporting concerns promptly.
Maintaining accurate care records and documentation.
Promoting dignity, choice, independence, and person-centred care at all times.

Duties include:

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

Deliver compassionate, person-centred care in line with care plans
Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily activities
Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate care documentation
Build trusting relationships with clients and families
Follow all health & safety regulations and company policies

What We’re Looking For
✔ Caring nature and genuine desire to help others

✔ 6+ months care experience (essential)

✔ Knowledge of Diabetes (essential)

✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach

✔ Strong verbal and written English skills

✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team

✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation

✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
