JOB TITLE: STORES TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: WENDENS AMBO, near SAFFRON WALDEN, ESSEX.

STATUS: FULL TIME

CRS Technics Limited provides component repairs to a wide range of commercial aircraft operators including Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, ATR and Bombardier. Based in Saffron Walden, England and Waterford, Ireland, CRS Technics Limited has ambitious growth plans which involve recruiting, developing and retaining the best engineering talent.

THE POSITION

We are seeking a full time Stores Technician to join our team based in Wendens Ambo, near Saffron Walden. The role holder will report to the Stores Team Leader and the primary purpose of the job will be to manage all aspects of the timely and accurate handling of incoming and outgoing parts and aircraft components in order to meet customer service levels to standard and on time.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Receive all incoming goods in line with Company standards and operating procedures

· Visually inspect all incoming goods and materials for physical damage and appropriate documentation

· Accept aircraft components and materials in accordance with internal IT system requirements (Aerotrac).

· Log all incoming goods and aircraft components on the internal IT systems (Aerotrac)

· Ensure rejected goods and parts are quarantined and labelled, and that the Team Leader is informed about the discrepant condition, so corrective action shall be initiated

· Meet all Customs procedures and processes to comply with UK and Global Legislation

· Ensure that all material certificates are properly filed and materials are properly stored, and that material is kept linked to the supplier source

· Issue approved parts, materials, special tooling to the Workshop Technicians and that that it is accompanied with the appropriate documentation

· Ensure that all outgoing aircraft components are packed for distribution in the agreed packing boxes and materials

· Maintain accurate inventory using computerised systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.

· Ensure that material is removed from store before it's due to expire

· Adheres to all Company standard operating procedures

· Adheres to all health and safety procedures

· Meets Stores quality and housekeeping standards

· Ensures all activity and works delivered meets the Company quality standards

· Ensures all administration and systems inputs meets agreed standards

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Ideally, the successful candidate will have Stores experience in the Aviation Sector. IT literate with the ability to use Word and Excel and a willingness to learn an industry software package (Aerotrac). The individual will be a team player, willing to learn, disciplined, with an eye for detail and a self-starter. There is a “one team” spirit at CRS Technics relying on every Team Member to pull together.
