Location: Staffordshire (On-Site)

Compensation: £50,000 Uncapped Bonus (OTE £75,00 - £85,000)

Reports To: Directors

About the Role

We are expanding our pharmacy business combining direct-to-patient B2C e-commerce and B2B wholesale trading pharmaceutical business. With clear strategic plans to expand our infrastructure over the next 6 to 12 months into a specialised, high-capacity 3PL fulfillment hub for external partners.

We don't need a corporate bureaucrat, a slideshow strategist, or someone waiting for instructions. We need a relentless Operator-General Manager who will act as the operational driver across Faces Pharmacy and Faces WDA today, while building the foundation for our future fulfillment division and commercial lead. You will translate high-level ambitions into raw revenue, establish aggressive commercial direction, manage software/tech dev integrations, and hold the cross-functional leadership team accountable to tight unit economics.

We will train you on our specific industry regulatory compliance what we need from you is raw commercial drive, strong operations/logistics experience (fulfillment experience is a huge plus), and an obsession with gross profit.

What You Will Own

Commercial Leadership & P&L: Hold complete P&L accountability across B2C online dispensing and B2B wholesale revenue channels today, expanding into 3PL fulfillment services in Year 1.
Operational Integration & Scaling: Partner directly with Em G (Operations) to maximize internal pick/pack efficiency, inventory turns, carrier rates, warehouse yield per square foot, and daily picker/packer productivity.
Future Fulfillment Roadmap: Lay the operational, layout, and software foundations over the next 6–12 months to launch our third-party fulfillment services smoothly.
B2B Wholesale Trading & Arbitrage: Work with commercial leads to identify short-supply lines, negotiate bulk pricing, trade pharmaceutical inventory fast, and capture high-margin commissions.
Tech & Dev Roadmap: Lead product development priorities for the Faces web app, custom customer portal, and warehouse integration to enable high-volume ordering.
Cross-Department Accountability: Align Superintendent Pharmacist/RP compliance gates with aggressive sales targets to ensure legal safety without slowing down growth.

What "Good" Looks Like: 90-Day Scorecard & Target KPIs

We measure success through hard numbers, gross margin expansion, and operational velocity. Starting from our baseline of £80,000/month net profit, your target is to grow net profit by 25% to 50 % by Month 3:

Month 1 — System Audit, Efficiency & Cost Leakage

Target Monthly Net Profit: Maintain baseline
Internal Fulfillment Cost per Order: Reduce B2C pick-and-pack labor and time costs by through warehouse workflow optimization alongside operations. Add more features to system to help grow.
Tech Audit: Audit 100% of WMS/ERP/Portal software bottlenecks and sign off on a fixed 30-day dev sprint with clear delivery dates.
Identify Team gaps: Where and what staff do we need - More Sales

Month 2 — Software Integration, Margin Lift & Inventory Speed

Target Monthly Net Profit: maintain baseline growth min 5 %
Inventory Turn Speed: Reduce average days-in-stock for B2B/WDA trading lines to <14 days to free up working capital.
Average Order Value (AOV): Work with Marketing to increase B2C order values by 12% via cross-selling and bundling.

Month 3 — Foundation setting for scale

Target Monthly Net Profit: maintain baseline growth).
New B2B Accounts: Support commercial leads in opening 5–10 active new B2B wholesale accounts, generating a minimum of £500,000/month in high-margin bulk trades.
Operational Capacity: Double total daily internal order throughput capacity without adding extra full-time warehouse headcount, establishing the blueprint for external 3PL services.

Month 6 — Scaled Trading, High-Margin Expansion & Profit Acceleration

Target Monthly Net Profit: 30% above starting baseline
Reduced tools and staff cost errors with orders
Increase sales team
Operations in warehouse on 3-6 monthly rota

Who You Are

Proven Operations Background: Hands-on track record scaling an e-commerce brand, managing high-volume wholesale distribution hubs, or working within order fulfillment / 3PL hubs (experience in fulfillment execution is strongly preferred as we prepare to launch this service).
Hungry & Relentless: You embrace a fast-moving, high-intensity work environment. You lead from the front, roll up your sleeves on the warehouse floor when order queues spike, and stay until the job is done.
Numbers & Unit-Economics Obsessed: You live in the numbers CAC, LTV, picking cost per unit, stock turn velocity, and net margin retention.
System Builder: You solve operational bottlenecks with automation, software workflows, and tight SOPs—not by throwing unnecessary headcount at problems.
