Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Software Tester and become a vital contributor to delivering high-quality software solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of our applications. Your proactive approach will help identify issues early, streamline release cycles, and enhance user satisfaction. We are looking for energetic professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about quality assurance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed test cases, scripts, and plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
Execute various testing types including functional, system, regression, performance, load, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Automate test processes using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and integrate with continuous integration systems like Jenkins or GitLab.
Perform root cause analysis to diagnose issues discovered during testing phases and collaborate with developers for troubleshooting and resolution.
Validate APIs using REST or SOAP protocols; conduct performance testing with LoadRunner or similar tools to ensure system robustness under load.
Participate in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) activities including requirements gathering, release management, and deployment support within Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, defect reports in Jira or HP ALM, and ensure quality standards are met before releases.

Requirements

Proven experience in software testing across multiple platforms such as Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS.
Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall frameworks.
Hands-on expertise with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab; experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
Proficiency in testing APIs (REST/SOAP), database management (SQL/PL/SQL), and data analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues.
Understanding of software development languages including Java, C#, C++, PHP, Python; experience with frameworks such as MVC or Service-oriented Architecture (SOA).
Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus; familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Maven, and build automation tools such as Ant.
Excellent analytical skills combined with strong communication abilities to gather requirements effectively and articulate testing outcomes clearly.
