La Velvetta Steakhouse – Doncaster

La Velvetta Steakhouse is looking for an experienced Mixologist to join our team and help deliver an exceptional bar experience for our guests.

This is a role for a skilled and experienced bartender/mixologist only. We are looking for someone who is confident behind the bar, has strong cocktail-making skills and understands the standards expected in a busy, high-quality steakhouse environment.

Please note: applicants without previous professional bartending/mixology experience will not be considered.

The Role

As our Mixologist, you will be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality cocktails, drinks and service while maintaining a professional, welcoming and organised bar.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, classic drinks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Demonstrate strong cocktail-making and mixology skills.
Maintain consistency, presentation and quality across all drinks.
Work confidently and efficiently during busy service periods.
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar at all times.
Ensure bar equipment and glassware are properly maintained.
Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety standards.
Provide friendly, professional and attentive service to our guests.
Work closely with the restaurant team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Help maintain the high standards and reputation of La Velvetta Steakhouse.

What We Are Looking For

Previous professional bartending/mixology experience is essential.
Strong cocktail-making skills and knowledge of classic cocktails.
Confidence working in a busy, high-pressure hospitality environment.
Excellent knowledge of spirits, cocktails and bar service.
Strong attention to detail, presentation and consistency.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy service periods.

Who Should Apply?
