£14.66 per hour | Minimum 20-hour contract

Do you take pride in delivering great guest experiences? Are you the person your team naturally looks to when things get busy?

BattleKart Sheffield is one of the UK's most exciting immersive entertainment experiences, combining electric karting, video game technology and interactive projection to create something unlike anything else. No race is ever the same, with players competing across a range of unique game modes where strategy, teamwork and skill are just as important as speed.

We're looking for an experienced, confident Duty Manager to help lead our operation and deliver exceptional guest experiences from the moment customers arrive until they leave wanting to come back.

This is a hands-on leadership role. As well as taking responsibility for the operation during your shift, you'll work alongside the team, greeting guests, delivering briefings, serving snacks and drinks, monitoring live games and helping wherever needed. We believe the best leaders lead from the front.

About you

We're looking for someone with maturity, sound judgement and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You'll ideally have:

At least one year's experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, Shift Manager or in a similar role with responsibility for the day-to-day operation of a busy customer-facing venue.
A strong hospitality background with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
The confidence to lead a team, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

The role

You'll be responsible for:

Leading shifts and acting as the senior member of the team on site.
Delivering exceptional guest experiences throughout every stage of the customer journey.
Supporting, coaching and motivating the team.
Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and presentation.
Managing live game sessions and responding to operational issues.
Completing daily operational checks and ensuring company procedures are followed.
Helping create a positive, professional and enjoyable working environment.
