Full job description

Plus £3,000 - £4,000 tips a year. Working 32 hours per week over 4 days with additional overtime available. Stable rota offering straight or split shifts.

The Royal Oak has a great reputation for serving fresh seasonal food. If you have a passion for food and a great work ethic we would love to have a chat about joining our friendly and supportive team. Due to our rural location you will need to have your own transport.

Only working 3/4 evenings a week with an early finish

The Role

Become a valued member of the team delivering consistent high quality food
Working within a small supportive team with a non shouting kitchen culture
Assist in menu planning
Assist in providing recipes, methods and photographs for all menu dishes
Working to a 5-star food hygiene rating and maintaining our AA rosette

The Person

An already established chef de partie or commis chef looking to take the next step up, who is enthusiastic and passionate about great food.
Experienced and proficient in menu prep and assisting the team in a busy service. A team player with a good temperament and positive attitude.
Willing to learn and develop skills
Experience of working in a fresh food kitchen serving seasonally changing menus
