Office Manager - Perm Full time, In person role at the School - This is a full year round role and not term time only.

Are you an experienced and highly organised administrator looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated School Office Manager to lead our busy school office and ensure the smooth running of all administrative, financial, and organisational processes. t

Main Purpose of the Role

As the School Office Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the school office, line manage administrative staff and support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in delivering efficient support services. You will play a key role in maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding, and ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the school office team, including performance reviews and training.
Oversee all administrative systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes including absence tracking and staff support.
Provide financial administration support including payroll, budgeting, and procurement.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, data protection, and school policies.
Support SLT with strategic planning, reporting, and school events.
Maintain a professional reception and communication service for parents and visitors.

What We’re Looking For

Ideally Proven experience in office management, ideally within an educational setting.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Proficiency in school systems such as Arbor, SAM People, and Microsoft Office.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality at all times.
