SEN Teaching Assistant / ABA Tutor – Permanent Opportunities

Maidenhead – Outstanding SEN School
Full-time roles – immediate starts available
Particularly suited to those seeking a permanent position
Paid trial period of several weeks before going temp-to-perm or permanent
Supporting pupils aged 5–16 with autism and additional needs
No previous ABA experience required – full training provided
SEN, care or education experience welcomed but not essential
Above all, we're looking for people passionate about working with children with additional needs

The Role

An ABA Tutor is essentially a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant role, working closely with children and young people with autism and complex needs.

You'll support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with learning, communication, emotional regulation, independence and daily routines. The role can include personal and intimate care, with full training provided.

The school is particularly keen to meet caring, patient and reliable people who genuinely want to build a long-term career within SEN.

Successful candidates will initially complete a paid trial period of several weeks through Teach and Connect. If it's a good fit for both you and the school, the role can then progress temp-to-perm or directly to a permanent contract with the school.

Flexible bank/supply opportunities are also available for those not seeking a permanent role.
