Full job description

Sales Executive

Location: Torksey Caravans, Torksey Lock, Lincoln
Earnings: Commission-based role with strong earning potential — last year the position paid just over £50,000
Hours: 4 days per week (Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
Working Hours:

Monday, Friday & Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm

Join Our Team

Torksey Caravans is one of the UK's leading caravan dealerships, with over 40 years of experience and over 100 new and pre-owned caravans and motorhomes on display. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our team.

Previous caravan or motorhome sales experience is not essential. We are looking for someone with a proven background in sales or a customer-facing role who enjoys building relationships, providing excellent customer service, and working towards sales targets.

The Role

As a Sales Executive, you will guide customers through the entire buying process, from their initial enquiry through to handover. Following full training, you will be expected to confidently manage all aspects of the sales process and, at times, oversee weekend sales operations independently.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming and assisting customers visiting the dealership.
Understanding customers' needs and recommending suitable caravans.
Managing your own appointments and customer follow-ups.
Valuing customers' caravans for part exchange.
Preparing and completing finance proposals.
Producing workshop work orders for sold vehicles.
Managing the diary for vehicle handovers, deliveries and appointments.
Ensuring every customer receives an outstanding buying experience.
Working effectively both as part of a team and independently.

What We're Looking For

Previous sales or relevant customer-facing experience is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to communicate professionally with customers over the phone and by email throughout the sales process.
Confident using computers and learning new systems.
Organised with strong attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently when required.
A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
