Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon with minimum 2 years' experience to join our esteemed veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a diverse range of animals, ensuring their health and wellbeing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your veterinary expertise in a supportive environment, contributing to the health of animals and peace of mind for their owners. Duties

Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose medical conditions in animals across various species.
Perform surgical procedures, including routine operations and emergency interventions.
Prescribe medication and treatment plans tailored to individual animals' needs.
Assist with laboratory tests, analyse results, and interpret findings to inform treatment decisions.
Advise pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and general animal health management.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Stay updated with the latest developments in veterinary medicine through continuous professional development.

Requirements

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon with valid registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS).
Proven veterinary experience, demonstrating competence across a broad spectrum of clinical cases.
Laboratory experience is highly desirable, facilitating accurate diagnostics and treatment planning.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise with pet owners and team members alike.
Strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards within veterinary practice.
2 Years Minimum Veterinary experience.
