Full job description

Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for excellent service are essential. This position is fully paid and ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills within the food and beverage industry.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable upon arrival
Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Handle customer enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
Support barista duties if required, including preparing drinks to standard
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Restock supplies and assist with setting up for events or functions

Skills

Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles preferred
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
Barista experience is desirable but not essential
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or special events as required
