Full job description

An exciting opportunity has presented itself within an independent family run Community Pharmacy.

The Pharmacy is renowned for going the extra mile for customers and its patients in offering a wide range of services and takes pride in the strong relationships and ties that the Pharmacy has established with the local Community including local GP Practices, Hospitals and Care Homes.

Our aim is to improve the health and wellbeing of the local Community by providing a bespoke, welcoming and caring service; fostering and promoting a family friendly approach in all that we do.

This unique opportunity requires a successful, forward-thinking Pharmacy Dispenser; whom will be required to maintain a professional and efficient service to customers and patients.

The ideal Pharmacy Dispenser will have a close working relationship with both the Pharmacist and other Dispensers and will be required to apply their expert knowledge including experience to the day-to-day operation of the business.

The attributes required for the role, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent or be willing to undertake such course, a hands-on approach to multi tasking, ability to support both team members and customers, a pragmatic approach working in a busy environment, with solid attention to detail, must be able to work to deadlines, a resourceful approach to problem solving, exceptional customer service, strong communication skills with a polite telephone manner, must have experience and is confident using the computer (proficient level).
