Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bar staff member to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment, providing exceptional service to our patrons while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and proficiency in serving drinks are highly desirable. The successful applicant will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing bar operations efficiently, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly.
Ensure all beverages are prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
Manage stock levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with inventory checks.
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws.
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service during busy periods.
Uphold health and safety standards at all times, including proper handling of equipment and ingredients.

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or bar service within a busy restaurant or pub environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service.
Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage customers professionally.
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Effective time management to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and attentiveness to detail.

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences in a dynamic setting. Applicants should demonstrate reliability, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in creating memorable moments for our guests.

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
