Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed and that any potential threats are identified and addressed promptly.

shift patter: Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and ensure the safety of property.
Provide first aid assistance when required, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour in emergencies.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary to ensure safety protocols are upheld.

Skills

Proficiency in first aid techniques, with certification preferred.
Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance technologies is advantageous.
Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques.
Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure situations.
