We have a brand new opportunity for a Creative Designer with a passion for Typography and visual detail.

You will support the delivery of a wide range of creative work across the business.

The Bidfood design team are responsible for supporting and maintaining the visual brand identity of the company. We work closely with the Marketing and Ecommerce teams to bring campaigns to life, creating engaging design concepts for our business sector. The team also supports the wider business with a broad range of design and artwork needs.

This role is a 12 month maternity cover

Salary: £31,827

Location: Slough (Hybrid – 2 days in the office, 3 days from home, flexible)

Hours: 9 – 5.30 (Flexible working available)

Role Essentials

Work as part of the design studio team, reporting to the Graphic Designer.
Support the delivery of creative design work across the business.
Contribute to a range of projects, including, but not limited to: Developing brand concepts and logos, and Producing artwork for tenders, brochures and business communications.
Manage your own day-to-day tasks with guidance from the team.
Build experience and confidence across different types of design work.

Who we’re looking for

This is a great opportunity for someone with some initial industry experience who is looking to grow their skills within a fast-paced, in-house design studio.

Experience in a similar role (or degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design) (essential)
A strong working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (essential)
An understanding of both print and digital design (essential)
A passion for creative design and typography
A good understanding of print processes
Passion for food (desirable)
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
