REVILO Furniture is a growing UK-based manufacturer and supplier of high-quality office furniture. We design, manufacture and supply products to the commercial office furniture market across the UK.
We are entering an exciting period of growth, with continued investment in our products, manufacturing facilities, vehicles and people. As we expand our customer base and delivery network, we are looking for a Long Distance Delivery & Installation Operative to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role involving the delivery and installation of REVILO furniture at customer sites throughout the UK.
You will be responsible for ensuring products arrive safely, on time and in excellent condition, before professionally installing and positioning them to the required specification.
The role will involve long-distance UK travel, and overnight stays will be required from time to time depending on delivery schedules and customer locations.
All vehicles operated within this role will be 3.5-tonne vehicles, so a suitable driving licence and good driving experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Driving REVILO 3.5T delivery vehicles safely and responsibly throughout the UK.
- Completing long-distance deliveries to commercial customers and end-user sites.
- Loading and unloading furniture safely, ensuring products are protected during transportation.
- Carrying out deliveries in accordance with agreed schedules and delivery instructions.
- Installing and assembling office furniture to a high standard.
- Working from assembly instructions, drawings and product information where required.
- Ensuring furniture is positioned correctly and customer requirements are met.
- Carrying out quality checks before leaving customer sites.
- Dealing professionally and courteously with customers and site contacts.
- Reporting any delivery, installation, product or customer issues promptly.
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining relevant delivery confirmation.
- Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and presentable.
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Ensuring all equipment and tools are maintained and used safely.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the warehouse and wider operations team when required.
Long Distance & Overnight Travel
The role will involve travelling to locations across the UK, including areas that may require an overnight stay.
You should therefore be comfortable with:
- Regular long-distance driving.
- Early starts and occasional longer working days depending on delivery schedules.
- Overnight stays when required.
- Working away from the REVILO base when necessary.
- Managing your time effectively while working independently on the road.
Overnight stays will not be required on every journey, but flexibility is an important part of the role.
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional and takes pride in representing REVILO when dealing with customers.
You will ideally have:
- A full UK driving licence suitable for driving 3.5T vehicles.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, furniture installation or a similar role.
- Good practical and manual skills.
- Experience assembling furniture or similar products would be advantageous.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A professional and friendly approach to customers.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- Good communication skills.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- The flexibility to undertake long-distance journeys and occasional overnight stays.
- A good understanding of health and safety.
Previous furniture installation experience is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
