Location: Viva Music Academy, Pear Mill, Stockport, Greater Manchester
Job Type: Self-employed
Schedule: Flexible, primarily weekday afternoons, evenings and Saturdays

Viva Music Academy is a growing music academy based at the historic Pear Mill in Stockport.

We are creating a warm, inspiring and creative environment where students of all ages can develop their musical skills, confidence and lifelong passion for music.

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic self-employed music tutors to join our growing community.

Who We're Looking For

We would love to hear from tutors who:

Have a passion for music and music education
Hold Grade 8 or above in the instrument(s) they teach, or have extensive professional performance experience
Enjoy teaching children, teenagers and adults
Have previous experience teaching children, which would be an advantage
Feel confident teaching one-to-one lessons and small groups
Can adapt lessons to different ages, abilities and learning goals
Demonstrate a friendly, reliable and professional approach
Hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to undergo the appropriate DBS check before teaching
