Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various settings, including commercial premises, healthcare facilities, and private residences. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality cleaning services. Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and client requirements
Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
Restock supplies and ensure cleaning tools are well-maintained
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks in hospitals or healthcare settings as needed
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hospital cleaning is desirable
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently without supervision
Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
Nice-to-have: experience working in hospital environments or with specialised cleaning protocols
