Front of House Receptionist – Elevate hair salon

Location: Brixton, South West London

Position: Full-Time / Part-Time (to be discussed)

At Elevate, we’re more than just a salon; we’re a creative hub where innovation, artistry and exceptional standards meet. Founded by Carl, a leading afro hairstylist with over 14 years of experience, our Brixton studio has grown into an internationally recognised destination for fashion-forward cuts, vibrant colours, and uncompromising hair care.

As our family continues to grow, with a new branch coming soon, we’re looking for a Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our studio and an essential part of our team.

What you’ll do:

Provide a warm, professional welcome to every client walking through our doors
Manage appointments, bookings, and client communications with efficiency and care
Support stylists by ensuring the salon runs smoothly day to day
Handle payments, phone calls and email enquiries with professionalism
Maintain the salon’s front-of-house appearance to reflect our exceptional standards

About you:

Friendly, approachable and confident in building client relationships
Organised with excellent communication skills (both in person and on the phone)
Able to multi-task and remain calm in a busy environment
Professional in attitude and appearance, with a genuine passion for client service
Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (ideally in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting) is a plus
