Are you enthusiastic, motivated, and ready to make a real difference in patient care? We’re recruiting for HCAs to join our friendly and dynamic team in the Day Surgery Unit based at Southend Hospital

Our departments provides high-quality, safe, and effective care.

You will be part of a busy, supportive environment, working with surgical patients throughout their peri-operative and post-operative journey. We cover a range of specialities.

We are proactive in supporting your training and professional development, offering ongoing learning opportunities to help you grow. To succeed, you’ll need to be a clear communicator, a team player, and bring a professional yet approachable attitude.

If successful, you will:
Be responsible for ensuring the highest possible standards of cleanliness within the clinical area and ensure all staff are familiar with escalation procedures for additional cleaning.

Be accountable by making sure you can answer for your actions or omissions.

Promote and uphold the privacy, dignity, rights, health and wellbeing of people who use health and care services.

Work in collaboration with other colleagues to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare, care and support.
