Job Overview

Fresh Produce Experience Essential

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will play a vital part in sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing products and materials that support our operational needs. Your proactive approach and strong negotiation skills will help ensure timely delivery, optimal pricing, and quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in supply chain management while contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Duties

Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify purchasing needs and develop sourcing strategies
Utilize ERP to process purchase orders, track inventory levels, and manage supplier data
Conduct negotiations with vendors to secure the best prices, delivery terms, and quality standards
Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely receipt of goods and materials, optimizing supply chain efficiency
Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, supplier communications, and inventory movements
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
Support the procurement team in managing supplier relationships and resolving any issues related to deliveries or product quality

Experience

Previous experience working with ERP systems is highly desirable
Familiarity with supply chain processes, logistics coordination, and procurement practices
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build mutually beneficial vendor relationships
Knowledge of inventory management principles and logistics operations
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and communicate effectively across departments
