About Us

Granville Community Homes Limited (GCH) is a not-for-profit housing provider delivering social housing and supported accommodation that empowers individuals and communities. Our work is rooted in social purpose, equity, and the belief that safe, secure, and supportive homes are a foundation for a good life. We provide specialist housing and support for vulnerable individuals—ranging from young people and people with mental health needs to those rebuilding their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

Housing Management -

Manage a small team of housing professionals.
Preparing annual service charge budgets and managing expenditure throughout the year
Liaising with internal team and external contractors, surveyors, and insurance companies to ensure our portfolio is adequately maintained and insured at all times.
Liaising with leaseholders and tenants via email, phone, and in person.
Ensure effective management of complaints and customer enquiries.

Income & Tenancy Sustainment -

Monitor rent collection performance and support initiatives to reduce arrears.
Prepare rent schedules with partners and liase with local authorities.
Oversee housing benefit claims and rent accounts, monitor arrears, and take appropriate action.
Promote tenancy sustainment and support vulnerable residents through partnership working and referrals.
Ensure effective management of lettings, allocations, transfers, and void properties to minimise re-let times.

Customer Experience -

Drive improvements in customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Promote resident engagement and involvement in shaping services.
Ensure customer feedback informs continuous service improvement.

Performance & Compliance -

Monitor KPIs, service standards, and regulatory compliance.
Prepare management reports and performance information.
Support delivery of regulatory requirements.
Contribute to budget management and value-for-money objectives.

Person Specification:

Essential -

Experience of working within a regulated social housing environment.
Experience in housing management within a housing association, local authority, or registered provider.
Strong knowledge of housing and tenancy legislation, regulatory requirements, and best practice.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience of partnership working with local authorities and external agencies.
Strong IT and report-writing skills.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (where required).

Preferred Skills

Experience of preparing rent schedules
Experience of managing ASB, tenancy enforcement, income collection, and customer complaints.
Experience of managing a team

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

Experience:
