We are recruiting for 6x new Welder/Fabricators to join our Mechanical Team as part of the continued growth of our team.This role is essential in ensuring the repair, modification and fabrication of parts and components for our rendering plant and associated equipment.
The role is predominantly workshop based, carrying out welding, fabrication, repairs and manufacturing of components. There will also be occasions where you will be required to work on plant and equipment around the site. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, metal fabrication and ideally working within a heavy machinery or industrial environment.
Location: Low Marnham, NG23 6SP
Shift: 4 on / 4 off days only (05:30-17:30hrs).

Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on plant equipment as required.
- Carry out repairs, modifications, and manufacturing of metal components as required.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to complete welding and fabrication tasks accurately.
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard, meeting safety regulations and company requirements.
- Use a variety of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG.
- Comfortable with hand tools and have experience of working with many materials including stainless and aluminium.
- Operate cutting, bending, and shaping tools for metal fabrication.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements
- Welding/fabrication certifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Experience as a Welder/Fabricator, in heavy machinery environment.
- Competency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
