Full job description

We are seeking an organised and approachable Recruitment, Induction, & Training Coordinator. We are a five-start tourist attraction in the heart of Edinburgh, looking for someone who shares our vision to make the world fall in love with Scotch whisky and can embody our values and behaviours in all aspects of their role.

This is a varied role supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to training, HR administration, and employee records. A key part of the role is acting as the day-to-day owner of Employment Hero, ensuring our HR system is maintained, compliant and supports an excellent employee experience.

What you'll be doing

Managing the day-to-day administration and continuous development of Employment Hero.
Coordinating recruitment, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and communicating with applicants.
Delivering a smooth onboarding and induction process, ensuring all new starters complete mandatory documentation, training, and compliance requirements.
Maintaining accurate employee records, contracts, policies, and HR documentation in line with GDPR and company procedures.
Supporting managers with HR administration, including absence management, return to work processes, performance review administration, and employee lifecycle activities.
Working closely with managers and Finance to ensure starters, leavers, and employee changes are processed accurately and efficiently.
Identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and systems across the business.

What we're looking for

Previous experience in an HR, People, or Recruitment Administration role with responsibility for coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities.
Experience maintaining employee records, contracts, and HR documentation with a strong understanding of confidentiality and GDPR.
Experience using HR information systems, with the confidence to administer and support colleagues using HR software (Employment Hero experience would be a distinct advantage).
Experience supporting managers with day-to-day HR administration, including absence management, inductions, training coordination, or employee lifecycle processes.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
A proactive approach, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering a positive employee experience.
