Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and organised Receptionist / Office Administrator / Payroll Clerk to join our vibrant team. This multifaceted role offers an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, manage essential administrative tasks, as well as processing clients payroll. Your energetic approach will help foster a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth office operations and accurate payroll management. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about delivering exceptional service, this position is perfect for you!

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, answer incoming calls, and direct inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism
Maintain a clean, organised reception area to create a positive first impression
Manage daily office administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and filing
Process payroll accurately using Sage 50 Payroll (training will be provided if no prior experience)
Enter data into accounting software such as Sage 50, including processing invoices, payments and sending invoices/statements
Support onboarding of clients
Conduct regular data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date system

Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative or receptionist role with excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is essential
Payroll experience would be beneficial
Proficiency in Sage 50 and Sage 50 Payroll would be beneficial but not essential
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of accounting principles would be beneficial
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour that fosters positive interactions with staff and visitors.
