Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your electrical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in electrical work.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools, diagnosing faults accurately.
Perform routine inspections of electrical components to identify potential problems before they escalate.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to carry out installations or repairs effectively.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently within deadlines.
Document work performed and report any issues or anomalies to supervisors promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
Valid electrical licence or certification recognised by local regulatory bodies is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working at heights if required.
