Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering their development in a safe and nurturing environment. You will be responsible for managing daily nursery activities, ensuring effective communication with parents, and supporting the overall growth of each child.

Duties

Manage daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Drive engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Provide high-quality childcare by attending to the individual needs of each child.
Support children’s learning through play-based activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.
A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their development.
