Full job description

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our photo team at VENU+! You will have the opportunity to work on site at Chessington World of Adventures and contribute to making magic for all visitors.

Job Summary

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting the management team with operations, interacting with customers to solve problems, concerns and assist in the sales process as needed. In this role you will have the opportunity to model best practices with our team of Retail Assistants to ensure outstanding customer service and work alongside our management team to plan and execute development/business plans.

Key Responsibilities

Create an outstanding buying experience for the customer by executing floor leadership
Greet all customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
Coach and develop Retail Assistants in both proper photo capture techniques and sales, including lighting and positioning
Lead and work alongside the Retail team to problem solve customer concerns
Work with management in opening, closing and operating the site, including but not limited to cash handling and deposits as governed by operations control standards
Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures
Assist with inventory counts as needed and maintain location appearance adhering to merchandising standards
Assist with all functions within a photo location in compliance with VENU+ policies and procedures
Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management

Desirable skills

Experience in retail management with strong customer focus background
Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills
Ability to lead, motivate/mentor, communicate, and generally interact with people in a positive way
Professional, energetic and positive attitude
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze results, make good decisions, and take responsibility
Working knowledge of PC Windows applications (Excel and Word)

Pay: £13.71 per hour
