Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist/Hairdresser to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for creating personalised hairstyles that enhance our clients’ confidence. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills further, including paid training . The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering exceptional salon experiences, maintaining high standards of hygiene and professionalism, and contributing to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

Provide a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client’s preferences.
Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to client needs and providing professional advice.
Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining an organised booking system.
Upsell additional services or retail products to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Assist with store management tasks such as stock replenishment and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.
Mentor junior team members and support training initiatives to foster a collaborative atmosphere.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining hygiene standards at all times.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser in a busy salon environment.
Skills in barbering are desirable but not essential.
Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.
