CLASS 1 NIGHT TRUNK DRIVER – OSSETT DEPOT

£19.38 PER HOUR | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | NO WEEKENDS

Are you looking for a well-paid Class 1 night-driving role with a consistent route, planned start times and no multi-drop deliveries?

Clarke Transport is recruiting a professional Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join our team at the Ossett depot, operating an internal trunk service to our Network Depots including Tipton (HUB) Direct or one of our network depots

THE ROLE

19:00 Start (may vary to cover holiday or sickness 17:30 – 20:00)
Trunk to our National Hub in Birmingham or to one of our network depots
Return to the Home Depot in Ossett

Role Details

Class 1 Night Trunk Driver
£19.38 per hour
Monday to Friday only – NO WEEKENDS
Internal trunk operation - NO MULTI-DROP DELIVERIES
ADR qualification preferred, although FULL ADR TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED WHERE REQUIRED
Based at our Ossett depot

This is a stable and consistent position within a professionally managed depot, offering a clearly defined route, realistic workload and proper operational planning.

Holds a valid Category C+E driving licence
Holds a valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Holds a valid Digital Tachograph Card
Works safely and professionally
Understands drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive requirements
Takes pride in their vehicle and standard of work
Is reliable, punctual and comfortable working nights
Values consistency, respect and fair treatment
Wants to become a long-term member of a supportive team
