Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join us. We are an 8 Wheel Tipper company . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing booking in vehicles to HS2 sites, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and maintaining accurate data entry across various systems. Assisting the transport manager with driver & fleet compliance. Due to the nature of the role, this is fully in office based. Expectation is 8 hours daily.

Immediate start.

Duties

Booking in Vehicles to HS2 sites using HS2 Booking in system Datascope
Manage training, licencing, and CPC updates, and conduct thorough driver debriefs to prevent infringements.
Producing delivery notes, driver packs for drivers.
Co ordinating collections and recording of Delivery notes.
Submitting completed orders with signed delivery notes to the accounts department.
Checking compliance records for new drivers and adding new driver details to the Datascope system.
Additional transport & billing administration duties as required.
Providing support to the transport manager and the accounts department.
Requirements
Proficient in all Microsoft packages with exceptional skills in excel to include VLookups and Pivot Tables.
Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately for decision-making purposes.
Proficient in data entry tasks with high attention to detail.
Effective communication skills,
Previous experience as working for a HS2 supplier advantageous.
Experience assisting with admin for a transport manager Advantageous

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
