Senior Business Development Manager – Premium Food & Luxury Hospitality

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonus

About Us

Drågen Smokehouse is an award-winning traditional Norwegian smokehouse producing exceptional hand-hung, slow-smoked salmon and trout using time-honoured methods and the finest Norwegian raw materials.

Our products have been served in Michelin-starred restaurants and supplied to the Norwegian Royal Household. As we expand into the UK market, we're looking for an experienced commercial professional with an established network to introduce our products to the country's finest hospitality businesses.

The Role

This is not a typical sales role.

We're looking for someone who already has strong relationships across the premium hospitality and foodservice sector and can open doors quickly.

You'll be responsible for introducing Drågen Smokehouse to executive chefs, food & beverage directors, purchasing managers, luxury hotels, private members' clubs, premium retailers and high-end restaurants throughout the UK.

If you already know the buyers, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new business opportunities within luxury hospitality and premium foodservice.

Introduce Drågen Smokehouse to your existing network of decision-makers.

Arrange tastings with Executive Chefs and purchasing teams.

Build relationships with distributors and wholesalers.

Negotiate commercial supply agreements.

Identify strategic partnerships that increase brand awareness.

Represent Drågen Smokehouse at industry events and trade shows.

Work closely with senior management on UK growth strategy.

Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software.

Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.

What We're Looking For

Essential

5+ years' experience selling premium food, luxury food products or fine foods.

A proven track record of winning new business.

An existing client book and network within luxury hospitality or premium foodservice.

Established relationships with Executive Chefs, F&B Directors, Purchasing Managers or Buyers.

Experience selling into:

Luxury Hotels

Michelin-starred Restaurants

Private Members' Clubs

Premium Retailers

Fine Food Distributors

Excellent commercial negotiation skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Highly Desirable

Experience working with:

Premium seafood

Artisan food brands

Luxury food imports

Fine food wholesalers

High-end retail

Hotel groups

What Success Looks Like

Within your first six months you will have:

Secured meetings with key hospitality decision-makers.

Generated a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

Converted new premium accounts.

Established Drågen Smokehouse as a recognised luxury smoked salmon brand within the UK hospitality sector.
