Full job description

Baker

Responsibilities:

Bread and Pastry Production:

o Daily production of our sourdough breads, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to our high standards

o Participate in the entire bread and pastry-making process, from ingredient preparation to final product presentation

o Maintain a clean and organised baking area, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly

Other Responsibilities:

o Maintain accurate inventory control of baking ingredients and supplies

o Implement and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

o Assist with maintaining a clean and hygienic bakery environment

o Assist with customer service duties, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring:

At least 3 years of experience baking bread and pastries, with a proven track record of producing high-quality products
A deep passion for baking and a strong understanding of bread-making techniques, including sourdough, baguettes, and other artisan breads
Experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
A commitment to health and safety regulations
Responsible, responsive and problem solving skills - able to use intuition and think on your feet
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

What We Offer:

Competitive salary of £27,040-£30,000 dependent on experience
Regular working hours (Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week)
