Full job description

Incatext Ltd, a well-established commercial furniture manufacturer, requires a well organised storesperson to join our dynamic and friendly team based in Weston-super-Mare. The duties and responsibilities of our Store Person vary depending on a day to day basis, but can include and are not limited too:

- dispatching goods from the stores, storing goods received appropriately and resolving discrepancies in the delivery of goods.

- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.

- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock.

- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items

- Updating inventory management systems regularly

- Picking, loading and moving goods by using a forklift

- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it

The role requires a level of physical fitness with lifting and moving forming part of this position.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities:

Charismatic, focussed and driven to succeed
Flexible and adaptable approach with the drive to seek better ways of working
Capable of following instructions
Able to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Ability to meet strict deadlines whilst reacting to changing circumstances
Take pride in work with excellent attention to detail
Team player with ability to work independently using initiative
Good numeracy and literacy skills

Although full training will be given, a background awareness of manual handling and health and safety at work is advantageous.

Working Pattern:

Permanent, full-time position (39 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
