Overview

Thor Helical, umbrellaed under the Keystone Group of companies is a leading manufacturer of helical bars, wall ties and insulation fixings. With a flair for innovation, intelligent design and advanced production engineering we supply a diverse range of helical fixings used across the globe in both new and refurbishment market sectors. With helical bars, wall ties and insulation fasteners manufactured all under one roof, we are looking to expand our production facility in Birstall, Leeds by appointing a Production Operator within evening shift.

Shift Pattern- 39 Hr Wk

Monday to Thursday 15:30-00:30

Friday 15:30-20:00

Salary: Competitive, hourly paid

Duties

Using a range of ‘twisting’ and ‘nubbing’ machines, you will develop the necessary skills to transform round feed-wire into finished roll-profiled helical fasteners in order to fulfil customer orders
Adhere to health and safety, hygiene and quality procedures
Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a positive working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

Experience of working within a relevant manufacturing setting in a similar role
Strong communication, verbal and numeracy skills
Previous experience of work shift patterns would be desirable
Excellent team member
Hard working
Punctual & reliable with a degree of flexibility required at peak business times.
