Job Summary
ECA Cleaning Ltd are looking for a hardworking and reliable Workshop Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on, workshop-based role supporting our engineers and helping to maintain the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop and warehouse operations. The role would suit someone who is practical, mechanically minded and enjoys working as part of a team.
You will be involved in preparing, assembling, testing and handling a wide range of professional cleaning equipment including pressure washers, scrubber dryers, vacuum systems and specialist cleaning machinery.
This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to develop within the business and progress towards a trainee engineer role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing customer machines and equipment
- Assisting workshop engineers with repairs and servicing
- Assembling and testing pressure washers and other equipment
- Commissioning new machines ready for customer delivery
- Assembling parts, accessories and equipment packages
- Handling customer equipment safely and professionally
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the workshop
- Supporting warehouse operations when required
- Assisting with holiday cover within the warehouse team
- Using hand and power tools safely and correctly
- Carrying out manual handling duties and moving equipment as required
- Supporting the wider team wherever needed

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
