Job Summary

Monday, Wednesday and Friday

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with janitorial experience or a background in commercial cleaning to contribute to a professional and hygienic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their work and are committed to delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces, ensuring all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to a high standard.
Utilise appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently.
Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish supplies such as soap and paper towels.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to the supervisor promptly.
Maintain a professional appearance and behaviour while representing the company on-site.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness at all times. This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking steady employment in a professional environment where quality and hygiene are paramount.
